Does anybody know how exactly the CAS signals the ECU....From what I know....the ECU gives out a 5 volt signal to the CAS, I probed the connector with the CAS disconnected...one for the crankposition and one for the cam position....I know that its an optical Hall Effect type sensor. But what confuses me is how it signals the ECU....Shouldn't the CAS be sending out signal rather then the ECU giving it 5 volts? And also it has two pins from the ecu in parallel for each....pin 41 and 51 for the cam and 42 and 52 for the crank.....why would they have two pins for each....? And why would there be longer "optical looking glass or holes" as it progresses for the inner holes....
